When Burnice enters her Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state, she applies a Scorched effect to enemies. When your other squad members hit Scorched enemies, they trigger Afterburn, which deals Fire damage and builds up Fire Anomaly. The single flamethrower version lets you dodge during use. The double flamethrower version deals more damage and builds Heat faster but cannot be interrupted.

Once enemies are Scorched, swap to your main damage dealer. Each time they hit a Scorched enemy, Burnice triggers Afterburn from off-field. This creates continuous Fire damage without Burnice needing to be on the battlefield.

Focus on maintaining the Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state as much as possible. Use her Enhanced Basic Attack at the start of battles to quickly apply Scorched since she enters with full Heat. Manage your Energy spending carefully to keep Heat above 50 points.
